Example for
harmonic analysis


WindDataSuite implements a module for evaluating wind data by means of Fourier analysis. The Fourier analysis comprises harmonic analysis for discrete temporal periods as yearly and daily waves, as well as spectral analysis for the complete frequency domain of the time series.

In the following example, the mean, amplitude, and phase of the 24-hour waves (Fig.2) have been calculated with harmonic analysis from the measured 10-minutes wind speeds in all heights (Fig.1).
